In July 2009, 263 corrosion-resistant blue trivalent chromium passivation agent researched by Ekem solves the problem of uneven color and yellow color due to difficulty of on-line automatic passivation. It can stick up to 72 hours in ASTMB117 neutral salt spray test at barrel plating and does not appear white rust when up to 120 hours at hanging plating. The passivation solution contains no hexavalent chromium and oxidizing agents,and it has passed the Swiss SGS standard testing.
